The Common Press Authors Night is our new bi-monthly program to bring to you a new selection of debut authors. These will be evenings where authors, within a theme, get to discuss their books and answer questions from a curious audience
About the Authors:
Nathan Korn
Nathan Korn is a writer and fashion designer from London. Having started out by writing poetry and short stories, his debut novel, Ambrose Through the Tall Grass, was published in October 2025 by Solar Press Books as the first piece of new original fiction in their Gay Modern Classics series.
Sophie Crawford
Sophie Crawford is musician and author from London.
She is the co-founder of Queer Folk and runs events and sessions across London including the new writing and music night Patterned Ground at Housmans Radical bookshop.
Her debut novel ‘My Ex-Girlfriend’s Wedding’ was published with Verve Books in November 2025.
