An audio-visual installation celebrating London nightlife
Sweaty Ceilings present an audio-visual experience embracing the nightlife of London’s active independent venues.
With DJ sets from grassroots pioneers, this installation showcases the photography, film, and music that surrounds London’s vital grassroots music venue ecosystem.
Working in tandem with the V&A’s Lost Music Venues exhibition, Sweaty Ceilings, Sticky Floors is a celebration of London’s current open music venues, highlighting their brilliance and importance for music and culture.
Our install is inclusive of a selection of footage and photos from fantastic GMV gigs and some of London’s archival venue posters from a selection of incredible designers, all accompanied with a line up of 4 brilliant DJs who pioneer London’s independent nightlife.
