🎉 Happy Pride Queers! We're not hanging about (or letting tube strikes stop us!) and are kicking things off with our monthly rope social @thereachclimbingwall this Thursday!
🚇 On the tube strikes though fr, please do be aware there are currently strikes planned on the day of this social :((( so transport to and from may be a little tricky. HOWEVER, the Lizzy Line should still be running and be a viable option 🙏
🤝 Our socials are the perfect place to meet other queer folk to climb with! Whether you're into top roping or leading, we have a wide range of abilities! If you do want to lead, it's a good idea to drop a message on our Rope Buddies channel on Discord to organise a partner and decide who is bringing rope. DM us for the link to join!
🍔 After climbing, as always, we'll be heading to the local (I believe The Great Harry will be expecting us!) for some grub and a drink to refuel and hang out some more.
😄 If you need a supervisor to help rebuild your confidence or assist you in your first session, your best bet is to drop a DM in the Rope Buddies channel over on our Discord where a friendly QC may volunteer their help.
🤔 If you are completely new to climbing, we recommend you come along to one of our bouldering socials first. Our next Bouldering Social will be @mileendclimbing on Thursday 18th June.
🪢Remember to bring your own climbing gear including shoes, rope, harness, and belay device.
🎒 If you don't have your own gear, shoes and harnesses are available to rent from the gym. Borrowing gear from elsewhere is NOT recommended!
