Want to learn how to DJ in a fun, cute, low-pressure space?
Join HYPERLINK at 3o6 studios for a four-week beginner DJ course covering everything from beatmatching and DJ equipment to set-building and performing live.
Each session includes an hour of teaching, followed by plenty of time to practise, ask questions and connect with other aspiring DJs.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence to build and perform your own set
PLUSSS with 6 selected members of the cohort get the chance to play at a HYPERLINK Open Decks event on 15 September at Ridley Road Market Bar ;))
The sessions will cover ⋆｡°✩
Week 1: Beatmatching, BPM, phrasing and EQs
Week 2: DJ equipment, Rekordbox, Serato, loops and effects
Week 3: Crate-digging, track selection, keys and building a set
Week 4: Playing solo, B2B and getting ready to perform live
No experience needed! just bring ur love for music and curiosity to learn<3
What you’ll need ˙⋆✮⋆˚࿔
Week 3: A laptop, where possible, with Rekordbox installed
Before Week 4: A USB drive
Week 4: Wired headphones
