MIDGITTE BARDOT'S PERSONAL SPOT comes back to London for a one-off Spectacular at Walthamstow Trades Hall. Hosted by the subversive, irreverent yet revered Midgitte Bardot (Southbank Centre, Royal Court Theatre), Personal Spot is an interdisciplinary performance programme and knees up. Expect drag, performance art, DIY feels, bops, big laughs, and a smack of radical liberation from today’s costly world. Probably a showtune or two. And a Raffle (previous reviews: “good even for People Who Hate Raffles.”) Each performer does around 15 minutes to try out some longer-form work rather than the traditional short cabaret 'turn'. It's the show's 3rd BIRTHDAY so there's an indulgent birthday bacchanal Afterparty on too.
