Berlin-based party series Dissident makes its London debut at Dalston Superstore, bringing its queer, DIY, norm-subverting energy to a night shaped by vintage sounds, open-minded curation and full-spectrum self-expression.
Downstairs:
Angel D'Lite sets the tone with kaleidoscopic rave energy, high-camp charge, big breaks and bass weight, while Teecra brings bubbling progressive rhythms and a hazy sense of uplift. Dissident residents Carly Zeng and marum take things deeper: Carly with trippy tribal turns, punchy house and a taste for the unexpected, and marum with ecstatic psychedelia, hidden rave cultures and a strong sense of collective care on the floor.
Upstairs:
Marie Malarie, Mika and Tedesco each bring a distinct charge upstairs. Marie Malarie channels East London crate-digger energy as a DJ, producer and promoter. Mika blends progressive electronic music, visual art and queer expression into immersive dancefloor moments, and Tedesco brings Venezuelan-born, London-based fire, weaving Latin sounds and reggaeton through melodic techno, bass and breaks.
Go-go dancers:
Jane Norman and Sharon Le Grand bring the performance heat, pushing Dissident’s playful visual world further into the night.
Door: Free before 10PM, £8 from 10PM, £10 after 11PM.
