A 2001 Grand Designs episode gave people the opportunity to earn equity of their home through their labour. Such schemes are all but non-existent today, but could this past model be the seed of a future solution?
Come down to The Common Press (Dalston) on Sunday 6th September to watch the episode and take part in a workshop that plans what future street you and that friend would want to build. Maybe you’ll find another pair who have a similar goal to you…

Outside of her home of East London, her work has catered to communities in Haringey, Lambeth and Brent.
