We are back with the third edition of La Monocle's monthly queer film club, created in collaboration with the wonderful Caroline Cassin. Each month, we gather to celebrate queer cinema, build community, and create a welcoming space to meet new people. This month, we are going to be showing Emma Seligman and Rachel Sennott's 2023 film Bottoms.
Starring Rachel Sennott herself and Ayo Edibiri, this satirical Queer comedy centres around unpopular best friends PJ and Josie as they start an underground high school fight club in order to meet girls and lose their virginity. However, they soon find themselves very much in over their heads.
We'll open doors at 6:30pm for a relaxed hour of mingling giving you a chance to chat and make friends. Drinks and snacks will be available at The Cinema Museum cafe/bar.
The film begins at 7:30pm, followed by an optional, informal continuation of the evening at [Betty and Joan's](https://bettyandjoans.co.uk/), just a short walk away. They'll be open as usual; no reservation or partnership… simply a warm space to carry on conversations.
