The 25th of April is a special day in the Portuguese calendar. Join us as A Portuguese Love Affair commemorate the carnation revolution at Love Affair Basement, with a day of workshops, crafts, performance.
Everybody's House - a cabaret show about revolution - will take place in the evening. This is a special edition of ‘Peaches’ Dreamhouse', the queer cabaret show hosted by Juliet Peaches on the last Saturday of every month at the basement.
This special edition celebrates seduction, glamour and expression - and history. Expect acts themed around anarchists and revolutionary. In cabaret - a fringe art form nurtured by the underground - these acts are more common than you think.
